WHAT IS ROCK 'N RUN?
This run event is unlike any other! Rock 'n Run is 0.5K race (yes you read that right), and family-friendly festival all tied into one, and for a great cause.
It's the run for everyone and we want runners of all ages and abilities to participate. Sprint to the finish line or take a more leisurely pace. And young children are welcome to zoom through the course on their tricycles or training wheel bikes. (Please, no two-wheel bikes!)
Rock 'n Run isn't just for “runners," it's for spectators, too! Bring your family and friends to cheer you on while you make your way around the course (all 1640 feet of it!). There's no charge for them to attend, and after you cross that finish line you all can relax, listen to the band Beggars Banquet, enjoy the food trucks, and more!
WHAT DOES THE EVENT SUPPORT?
Rock ‘n Run will raise funds to support TLC’s Early Childhood Intervention programs – Early Childhood Intervention Services, Pre-K, and Applied Behavioral Analysis – all of which are underfunded and rely on fundraising initiatives. These programs impact the youngest members of our community who need these vital services early on in life.

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE IN THE RUN?
Anyone. Seriously, ANYONE! This event couldn’t align any better with our mission of empowering individuals of ALL abilities to live their fullest life if we tried.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
Registration is $30 per adult, $15 per child (10 and under).
Registration includes a water bottle (gotta stay hydrated out there), a sweet car magnet (metal bumper not included) and a one-of-a-kind medal.
WHERE IS THE EVENT LOCATED?
The address for Bond Brothers Brew Company is 202 E Cedar St, Cary, NC 2751. Parking is available around the brewery.
WHAT SUPPORT WILL BE AVAILABLE?
WHY CREATE A TEAM?
Because teamwork makes the dreamwork! While your collective run times won't be tallied we will be tallying the money you raise through everydayhero. The team that raises the most money will take home the Inaugural Rock 'n Run Best Team trophy. There is no additional cost to create a team.
It’s how you can raise money for TLC! Everydayhero is a peer-to-peer tool for you to fundraise on behalf of Tammy Lynn Center and your participation in this event (fun huh!?). It's easy and free to set up your personal page and get started. After you register your confirmation email will include a link. All you have to do is make a password, add a picture and set a fundraising goal (think big – we’re counting on you!). Let us know if you have questions; we'd love to have you as one of Tammy Lynn Center's everydayheros.
HOW CAN I WIN?
Everyone wins at this event folks! But for the uber-competitive type – we’ll also be awarding a trophy to the individual that raises the most money through everydayhero (more on that below). There are also prizes for individuals who meet certain fundraising goals. Fundraising prizes include:

$500 – coming soon: something great
$1,000 – we’ll let you know but it’ll be better than the $500 level!
WHAT TIME ARE THE FESTIVITIES?
Registration will open at 12:00pm. Food trucks and beverages will be available throughout the event. The first runners will take off from the start line at 1pm.
WHAT WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR KIDS TO DO?
Kids taking part in the fun run will be the first to take off at 1pm. We'll also have lawn games, a face painter, and other fun things for kids to enjoy.
